      <image:caption>I started in the summer 2021 while some of the gummy packaging was already established (beautiful creations by Creative Director Heather Shevitz) but the brand was extending quickly into innovative product spaces like confections, concentrates, and specialty forms of flower. Working with Heather was a dream as we thought so much alike and I could really bring her visions to life. She also trained me to thrive in the gray area, which I feel is an important skill to make it in the Cannabis industry, or any innovative and/or profit driven setting and is a skill I am constantly grooming. Matter. Wildberry Gummy Product-Focused Screen The Matter. gummies are wildly popular at Verilife Dispensary, one of Pharmacann’s trusted dispensaries under their vertically integrated company. We leveraged Heather’s gummy packaging colors (watermelon pink, wildberry purple, green-apple, and acai pomegranate) to start transitioning the brand from it’s plain white and medical focused clinical look to a basic but impactful recreational lifestyle brand and leave room to grow its legs in other channels.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>The goal of this evolution was to speak to a target audience of Gen Z without leaving out the legacy customer. The challenge was to adhere to this goal while streamlining the shelf-space of packages that came in several forms and three different mask segments. The packaging visually combines fun and educational elements with a logo that is fresh and still recognizable to the original branding. I worked hand-in-hand on the project with the talented Kristen Merry, who created this logo refresh. We landed on a billboard repeated style of the logo, playing off inspiration from our research on fresh skincare packaging appealing to Gen Z. I created a series of “fruit sticker” to go over the banners, playing fun at fresh clean ingredients. Additionally I helped roll out all segments with strategic coloring of the tubes, caps, typographic hierarchy, and benefit driven icons.</image:caption>
